About Us

The CBA was recently reformed to be the race organizer of the Western Series. The Western Series was previously run by the Inter-provincial committee and the races were run by the track alone. This presented a few issues and inconsistencies in the race program. Firstly, with each track running each event separately, despite efforts to hold consistent events they were all slightly different. Secondly, on the organizing side, the inter-provincial committee started with four members in the first year and quickly fell to a two person show (Jim and Adam) running all the scheduling, points and decision making.
So in interest of improving the series, making it more consistent and to have better events, CBA was reformed. Now a committee of volunteers from each province including the original two will work together to run and organize the series. The CBA will also be running the events at each club, with the clubs helping with volunteers. This will take a lot of the pressure off the clubs and they can focus on making the race a great event.

The CBA will be working to have standard prizing, schedules, moto building and officiating at the events.

We have official named 2008 as the year of the Phoenix. The year the CBA rose out of the ashes.
